Welcome to my website! This website doesn't really contain specific information about one topic, but just contains several topics that hold my interest. I really see this website more as my personal playground than anything else. For a complete overview, check out the table of contents.
Something about me
I am a student mathematics from the Netherlands. On the internet I use the nickname “Rudiculous”. A friend once called me this for fun and I have been using this name ever since. Another nickname I sometimes use is “Rude”.
Some of my interests include mathematics (especially algebra and logic), webdesign, hanging out with friends and listening to music. I also like playing the drums and some other instruments (guitars, piano). I used to play in a cover-band (Subversion) as the drummer from March 2004 until November 2007 and in an alternative rock-band (At Zero) as the drummer from November 2007 until May 2008. Currently I am not playing in any band.
I also play the MMORPG World of Warcraft. I play on the European realm Saurfang, on which I have the following characters:
Mathematics
As far as mathematics are concerned I am especially interested in algebra and constructive logic. I currently am in the bachelor phase of my study.
Webdesign
I also like making websites. My “language” of choice currently is XHTML 1.1, but I am waiting for the W3C to finish XHTML 2. All the websites I make are (at least) XHTML 1.1 valid. I also make websites keeping the semantics of tags in mind to keep my websites as accessible as possible. As far as CSS are concerned, I try not to use these too much. I think the user should have the choice what the page looks like, not the person who made the website. I tend to use some minimalistic styles though.
