Manual

This document is the manual for Rudiculous.net.

Name

Rudiculous.net - A website by and about Rudiculous.

Description

Rudiculous.net is a website by and about Rudiculous. This website doesn't contain information about one specific topic, but contains several topics that hold my interest.

Accessibility

I've tried to make this website as accessible as possible. All the pages are valid XHTML 1.1. For the layout I've used valid CSS 2.1. This website should work in visual browsers, in text-based browsers, on printers and with screen readers.

I have also added a link with which you can toggle the navigation menu on or off (which can be useful for smaller screens that don't have the horizontal space to display the navigation menu on the side). This link uses javascript. If javascript isn't available, this link points to a version of the page with or without a menu and will reload the page. To disable the navigation menu, CSS is required.

Another link I've recently added, is a link with which you can stick or unstick the navigation menu. When you stick the navigation menu, it will always stay in sight, even when you scroll. When you unstick the navigation menu, it wil remain in its original place. This link requires javascript. If javascript isn't available, this link points to the navigation menu. To stick the navigation menu, CSS is required. When the navigation menu is hidden, this link also will be disabled.

WAI

This website currently conforms to W3C's “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0” (hereafter WCAG 1.0), available at http://www.w3.org/TR/1999/WAI-WEBCONTENT-19990505, level “Triple A”. If you don't agree with this statement, please drop me an e-mail or leave a comment in my guestbook.

Privacy

This website does not use cookies.

If you post a comment in my guestbook, your IP-address gets stored in my database. This is a necessary evil, I need to monitor IP-addresses to be able to fight spam.

Bugs

This website doesn't work correctly in Internet Explorer browsers, or in browsers with a layout engine based on KHTML (such as Konqueror and Safari). This is because the website is written in XHTML, which is only supported by a limited number of browsers.

At the time of writing, no other bugs are known. If you find a bug however, you may report it at Rudiculous@rudiculous.net.
